About Me |

Photography has always been a strong passion of mine ever since I was a
yearbook photographer in high school and college. After graduating,
I spent my professional career away from photography working in the high-tech industry
for various well-known companies such as eBay, Microsoft, and Google.
I always kept
working on my photography skills as a serious hobby and I have now reached a
point in my life where I am able to work on them full time as a professional.
The latest advances in digital
photography and post-production have me more excited than ever as my photography
interest and computer experience dovetail perfectly together. One of my other passions along with photography is travel. I have been to over 30 countries and have walked on
all 7 continents. Travel and photography go hand in hand with each other and I am blessed to have a passion for both. While
I believe using the right camera gear is important, I truly believe that the skill of the person using it is the most critical
piece of the process. Even as a professional, I take several photo workshops and classes per year and constantly
strive to learn new techniques to improve myself.
I have worked for myself as
a professional photographer since 2004 and have sold many photographs
from my portfolio as fine art prints and stock images. Despite my busy schedule, I still manage to find time to donate my services to
non-profit projects including my current work as a photographer for the United States Coast Guard. I also spend time improving my post-production skills, as they are just as important in
today's world of digital photography. I am a certified Adobe Photoshop Expert and am currently
working on becoming a certified Adobe Photoshop Instructor. I hope you enjoy viewing my photographs and art and I welcome any questions or comments you have about my work.
